refunds, in plain words.
Studio is paid in advance in cryptocurrency. Crypto payments can’t be reversed like a card payment, so here is exactly what happens if something goes wrong — and how we put it right.
01Payments are final — with one promise
A normal payment for Studio isn’t refunded, and Studio doesn’t renew by itself, so there’s nothing to cancel: when your paid time ends, your account simply locks until you renew.
Our promise: if a payment went wrong, or you paid and Recto didn’t work for you as described, we’ll help — by fixing the problem, adding Studio time, or refunding the payment in crypto. Tell us what happened.
02If you send the wrong amount
You get Studio time for what actually arrived, automatically — no need to write to us:
- Too little: the time is shortened to match. For example, sending half of a 1-month payment gives about 15 days.
- Too much: the extra becomes extra days.
- Topped up later on the same payment: the extra time is added when it arrives.
Your billing page shows exactly how many days each payment added.
03Other payment problems
- You paid but Studio didn’t unlock: crypto usually confirms within minutes, sometimes longer. If it hasn’t unlocked after a few hours, write to us with the date and amount.
- You paid twice: the second payment adds more time. If you’d rather have it back, ask and we’ll refund it.
- Wrong coin or wrong network: contact us straight away. We’ll try to recover it with our payment provider, but funds sent on the wrong network can’t always be recovered.
04How refunds are paid
Refunds are sent in crypto to a wallet address you give us, for the amount we received, less any network fee. We never ask for passwords, seed phrases or private keys.
